The challenge has been brought down. It’s time to get my Insanity shoes back on and ready to go. So what does that mean? yep. Round 2 of Insanity for me. I’m going to be getting back out the DVD’s, come Monday will be Day 1 of 63. appropriately labeled this time around from the beginning. Those of you who might not know about Insanity it is an all out High intensity total body conditioning program, not for the faint hearted. 63 days of pure cardio bliss! Read my Insanity round one to get a feel for what it was all about.

Timeline: Monday October 5, 2009 –> December 7, 2009
Why the change? I started my hybrid, and I wasn’t keeping myself motivated as much as I would of liked to get in there. Not sure why. After talking with my friend James, he got me thinking and convinced me, wasn’t too hard, that another round was indeed needed. AKA BigPopaJaye on YouTube, he as well is going to start round 2 on Monday, October 5th, 2009. So what isn’t better than a great round of High intensity Max Interval Training workouts with a friend to help push each other along! This time I will have to DIG DEEPER to keep up with him. I call him “The Machine’ because he is just crazy results man and just keeps on going! This is how YOU get results people! Working out with others. Creating accountability, creating excitement about your fitness and pushing hard to reach your goals. FUN FUN FUN. Did I say FUN yet?
I’m excited and really looking forward to having some crazy fun this round. New heart rate monitor (will post some info from the results), using a better video camera and just all around increased motivation to reach my goals. Nothing spells success better than new toys. :).
I have 4 goals.
- 6% reduction in Body Fat
- Stay at current weight or gain a couple pounds with the weighted workouts 3 days a week.
- Continue to increase cardio endurance
- Nutrition in check
Anything specific you’d be interested in me writing about during this round, let me know. I’d love to get the people the information they find useful and helpful to help keep them motivated and excited in their workout programs. I know we can do this together, one step, one leap at a time and the world will be healthier for it!
