So the past 2 days have been great Insanity workouts per usual. I’m really feeling the groove coming on each day as this comes to a close. I can sense myself pushing harder each workout right now (not that i haven't been pushing from day 1) but it’s just that sense of ‘urgency’ that makes me want to finish even stronger than what I started with and know that I can finish strong. This is about finding out how strong we really are. How far can we push ourselves to get that change we are looking for. Is it ok if we don’t fully reach our goals? Sure. The key is that you are working towards them, your not stopping and your giving it your best shot. This is fun stuff people. C’Mon, lets get excited!!!
Day 51 video update is Here.
Day 52 video update is Here.
Day 51 – Max Interval Plyo . Really got into another groove with it. I was focusing on more form again and making sure I am maximizing my efforts these last 2 weeks. So I slightly, just slightly slowed myself down and it worked out nicely. really pushed though at the same time if that makes sense. I was feeling a great burn by the end of the entire workout. Did right around 200 pushup’s in all for the entire workout as well. Getting better at some of the moves that give me slight complications and that is more just a matter of strength and endurance which is coming along nicely. Still not ready for primetime in a video like those guys. :). But being able to work close to the speed for the bulk of the workouts is a goal. Not necessarily this round/cycle of Insanity but over time as I continue to include the Max workouts in my next routine. The best thing to remember is that we are human and are all different makes and models. We achieve certain levels at different rates. So don’t get upset if you aren’t getting to a point you wanted to be yet. It will come with dedication. Stay motivated.
Day 52 Max Cardio Conditioning/Cardio Abs– I love the cardio conditioning workouts. I’m enjoying the new found energy, endurance levels and focus that I’ve achieved through them. It’s not just the cardio conditioning, but it’s really helped. The entire program has helped. One thing that I’ve found doing this workout is to focus on each individual exercise. Approach each one as if it is the ONLY one you are doing. Because this is a straight cardio routine with no breaks, and your looking to increase your endurance, you need to push yourself for the entire 45 seconds to a minute that each exercise is. Dig deep and get the MOST out them. You get into this ‘zone’ that is just awesome. I so needed a recovery drink last night. So do NOT forget to drink yours after each workout.
So get excited people. Be happy and step up to the plate for an awesome challenge. I think Insanity is there for you to go to that next level. If you are just wrapping up a round of P90x or another workout routine and are looking to really find out what your about, then take a look at Insanity. I personally think it is will do the job. Grab it here if you are ready. If on the bubble, contact me. I want to make sure you are getting into the right program that fits your goals and fitness level.
If you take that step, I promise you’ll be happy in the next 60 or 90 days depending on what you do. Insanity/P90x/Chalean Extreme are wonderful products that are the real deal and deliver on their promise.
KP is out. Peace!
