digDeep2 This past week has been pretty good.  The workouts continue to challenge me each and everyday.  Even down to the recovery day’s and in this particular week we had a core cardio and Balance workout.  But the best part is that it still keeps me on my toes. Keeps me wanting to push harder to get more results out of what I’m trying to accomplish over these 60 days.  A mere 60 days to reach for the stars.

Day 48 was my rest day this week. It was necessary to shift it because of some holiday weekend travel and family plans. Day 49 was Core Cardio & Balance.  It was a nice feeling when I saw that on the schedule.  That is a great workout that gives you a little bit more recovery for the week, but still works to keep you motivated enough with a decent workout routine.  You still work up a great sweat.  You go from easier –> ‘harder’ from the beginning to end.  Idea is to NOT exhaust yourself, but to get comfortably into a zone.

Video Update for the week is here.

Week 7 included:

Tuesday: Max Cardio Conditioning
Wednesday:Max Interval Circuit
Thursday:Max Interval Plyo
Friday:Max Recovery
Saturday:Max Cardio Conditioning /Cardio ABs

Week 7 as mentioned above has been fun.  I really get into the max workout now and fully try to take advantage of what they are offering.  I’m no machine like my friend James, but I get in there and push it as hard as I can. The key really is staying motivated to stay focused and on course to reach your goals.  I’m working hard to reach my, even if I fall short, I know that I gave it my best. That I put in the efforts and time to make myself healthier and feel better.  And it is working.  Again, the idea is to set some goals, try to reach them, and be happy that you are out there trying to make a better person out of yourself and hopefully those around you that are seeing your changes/transformation take place right there in front of them.  It’s a WONDERFUL feeling.

Insanity is a great program.  Shaun Thompson does a great job at keeping me motivating from the moment he says go through the end of the stretch.  You really should look at giving Insanity a try if you are looking for a challenge that is beyond anything that you may have done so far in your workouts.  I’m sure there are other that are ‘tougher’, but not sure you’ll find something as well organized and proven to work in 60 days!   Join me, each and everyday or the countless others out there pressing play hoping to make this world a better fitter place.  I’m here to help motivate you and help push you to take that ‘step’ to changing your own life for the better.  Make sure you are using WOWY.  I am there each and every workout.  I love increasing my odds of success by being accountable.  Free signup to use.
