So I wanted to review this before I got started on Round 2 of Insanity. RevAbs is a 90 day program by Brett Hoebel. Who is Brett? Brett is a trainer out of New York and working with Beachbody and they came up with this unique program to burn fat, rev up the metabolism, and create killer abs and core strength and in the end, you’ll have the ab defining and body toning you’ve always wanted. It will consist of 12 DVD’s using a mix of Traditional Core Strength training and Capoeira(apologize for butchering this on video) training. You’ll see cardio and strength training with Brett’s own unique abs and core work. The program will hit your core from every angle possible. There will be cardio interval work along with total body strength training to give you the complete package in 90 days!
So I did the preview workout that was released with one of the Tony Horton One on One dvd’s a couple months (August) ago.

Review: I think this will be a great program overall. The preview disk gets you into the style that Brett does and the way he’ll be leading you through the workouts. He is motivating like all the trainers that work with beachbody which is awesome. I found that by the end of the workout, that i was sore. my abs, core, sides were sore. heh. The nice thing is that there is new variety of moves which help to challenge the bodies muscles not to be use to the same moves over and over again. And with his background and training I think the results are going to be incredible.
There is a short warm-up, then you get into the core of the workout. Focus is on the abs/core, there is a lower back exercise. This main sequence is done 3 times. then you do a short warm down. He has the concept of the Rev Zone that will be interesting to see how it is used in the other workouts. I won’t say much until the entire program comes out. Look to me starting this one in December, 09.
