The power of your own possibilities
“What if you could fully comprehend everything of which you're capable? You would never waste another moment of your precious time.
What if you could know how truly powerful you are? You would never again be reluctant to move forward.
You are the living expression of opportunity. Within you are countless magnificent achievements to be discovered and fulfilled.
Fear keeps those achievements unrealized, hidden from yourself and the world. Love will set them free.
Spend a moment in loving thankfulness for all that has brought you to where you are today. Peacefully let go of the resentment, doubt, disappointment, worry and fear.
Feel the power of your own possibilities. See that the best is yet to come, and joyfully begin to bring it to life.
-- Ralph Marston”

Often, we in life wait for the right timing, or the perfect scenario to act on something. To say that we’ll get started when the moment is right. Is that ever the case? Another great motivational message sent along to me that hopefully strides a chord with you that don’t put things off. don’t wait till that perfect ‘situation’ that will never rear its face. You need to be the one to take the bull by the horn and run with it. Take that first step and make a commitment!
“If you wait for the ideal situation, it will never come. If you create the ideal situation, it will always be, whenever you choose for it to be.
There are plenty of excuses you can make for why this is not the time to act. And while you're busy making those excuses, someone else is busy taking those same actions that you are merely considering.
The time is right when you make it right. Waiting and hoping for things to get better will just allow things to get worse.
If it's important to you, figure out a way to get started on it now. Because the more you delay, the more you're telling yourself that it's really not that important.
Why would you want to spend your time setting yourself up for disappointment? Instead, you can spend that time marching steadily toward your goals.
The ideal time is when you make it, and what you make it. Make it now, and make it great.”
-- Ralph Marston
If you are ready to break the mold, break that cycle of unhappiness or just plain tired of being in the same rut, then stop making excuses. Don’t wait, the ideal time is now, today, the present. Get yourself moving, get your mind on the right path to success. Here to help, lets do this together.

This is another wonderful motivator that was sent out to me that I wanted to share. Make yourself a promise today for a better future. Healthy fit one and challenge yourself more than you ever have. You can do it. It is in you.
______
What promise can you make to yourself today? What promise can you make to yourself, and keep?
You have made, and will continue to make, all sorts of commitments to others. if those commitments are to have any value, you must also be committed to yourself.
It’s not the least bit selfish to be committed to yourself. because being your absolute best, is what enables you to be of service to others.
Right now, you know of many ways in which you can strengthen and improve your value to yourself, and your value to life. Pick one of those ways, right now, and make a promise to yourself to follow through.
No matter how far you’ve already come, there is always some new fulfilling ground to cover. Choose a fresh, challenging path, and commit to making your way along it.
Make yourself a promise. And give to all of life your own unique gift of achievement.
-Ralph Marston

What’s holding you back? Hopefully nothing. There are no obstacles to big to work through. There is nothing that should allow you to reach big and be successful and achieve your greatest ambitions. The below excerpt was sent from a co-worker which I thought was incredibly motivating at us all striving to be our bests.
“Do all you can, when you can, with what you have. Though it may sometimes seem that you're not getting much accomplished, the only alternative is to get nothing accomplished.
To make progress you must be actively making an effort. With each effort, at the very least you gain experience, exposure, knowledge and competence.
To find what you're looking for, you must be looking. To come across a great opportunity, you must be in motion.
By all means, go ahead and dream big, wonderful and meaningful dreams. Then let those dreams motivate you to get up and get busy making them real.
Circumstances may indeed push against you, but they cannot hold you back. Always, there is something you can do, some move you can make, some new approach you can follow.
Jump into life, get yourself in motion, and make a positive difference every chance you get. Persist, keep yourself moving, and you'll absolutely get where you wish to go.” -- Ralph Marston
Keep this in mind each and everyday. Focus on doing what’s right and what will make you successful. Get in motion! You can do it, just takes that first step! This is true in all matters of your life.
Stay fit and healthy!
We all do it at some point or another. I will be the first to admit I’ve used excuses before. I Kevin Price have made excuses for not doing the right thing!. I did it for many years making up the usual reasons to not do what was right for myself. I mean, it is rather simple isn’t it? So why do we do it? Why do we continue to ‘enable’ ourselves to not live up to our potentials; to find those little reasons to sit on the side lines. Why continue to feel like we are wasting away? Why continue to go down a dead end path?
It’s not rocket science. I want to see you get healthy. Stop eating fast food.
Here are a few statistics:
- 110 Billion dollars are spent annually alone in the US on ‘Convenience’ foods.
- 15 Million Americans are considered Morbidly obese
- Current trends have our children NOT living longer than their parents if things continue.
I saw this video and thought that it was perfect for explaining why there is no place for an excuse today, tomorrow or any other day. Watch this video, you’ll see there simply is no reason for it. You want motivation, here it is. Get up off the couch. Get out your recliner. Get moving today and make a difference in your life and your children's. Let’s get healthy!
Contact me if you are ready to make a change. Here to help you anyway that I can to get moving in the right direction towards a healthy lifestyle that will transform you into the person you want and should be. Help yourself, help our children and their children understand what is the right way!
Got this from a co-worker this week and thought that this really hits home about taking that first step to controlling your own destiny and getting yourself on track to a healthy lifestyle and your own life journey down the right path!
“Just because you seem to be at a disadvantage is no reason to give up. Instead, resolve to push forward with consistent, focused effort.
Those who achieve are not necessarily the smartest, the wealthiest, or the best connected. Those who achieve are those who are the most persistent.
Your level of commitment over the long term is a much bigger factor than any relative advantages or disadvantages that may exist when you first start. Choose where you would like to go, and keep making the effort until you get there.
Be willing to do what it takes, and you can achieve whatever you wish. Instead of worrying about where you are when you begin, put your energy into making steady Progress.
If you can take one step and then another, you’ll get where you choose to go. So take the first step right now, and then begin working on the next one.
you owe it to yourself to live life at its best. Now is your opportunity to make that life happen.”
--Ralph Marston

Alright. One year ago, I had to buy a size 38 waist pant. and it was ‘comfortable’ I will say when i wore them. I wasn’t happy about it. I wasn’t excited to get a new pair of pants. I was actually quite sad. Sad that I had let myself get to that point. Should I have really done that? NO. but you now what, we all live in the real world. We all have families, jobs and things we considered a higher priority in life. Those things that I now deem as Obstacles.
I think that these obstacles in fact, are just things that we sometimes allow as an excuse rather than focusing on our own needs and goals. But 10 months ago, I decided it was time to make a change. It was time to get back my health, my weight and my happiness and confidence. And guess what. It’s paid off 10 fold, There is no end in sight, there is nothing that will get in my way of continuing my SUCCESS.
Just the other day, the wife said you have to get a pair of pants that fit you now. I was like, oh. That is a good thing. Why? because over the past 10 months, I have lost 30 pounds, and about 18% body Fat. My waist size has gone from a 38 down to a whopping 32. Yes, a 32. I really have no clue the last time I fit into a pair of 32 waist. I will have to ask my mother because it really has been that long. :).
Can it happen to you? 100% yes. Can you realize your goals and get your life back on track? 100% yes. Does it take guts, does it take motivation, does it take hard work? 100% yes. There is no easy road. No magic pill. But, I guarantee you if you put the time in, you put the energy necessary, your life will be turned upside down. Seize the day and don’t let another Today get away from you!
Take a chance. Contact me and find out how. You may ask how did I do it? Simple yet effective. Lifestyle changes. I set aside the time to make it work for me. Are you interested?I can help! Help me, help you! Take the first step and make the right decision. Insanity, P90x, Chalean Extreme or any other Beachbody product. That’s what got me where I am today. And I’m glad to have been introduced to them. They get the job done. Decide. Commit. Succeed!

Saw an article that made mention of something Tony Horton said that I thought is ideal.
“Create a life with purpose and a plan. Many people care to much about how they look. To be effective in getting in better shape and health, you need to focus on yourself and ignore the rest. Find a purpose that affects ho you are and what you can change today. If you exercise today and you eat well today, you have improved your health, you have improved your fitness, and you have improved the quality of your life”.
I think that too often we really do get caught up in everything that is going on around us and don’t focus on the easy things in life. Which is our health and family. Small steps, changes, corrections in our daily lives can make incredible strides towards returning you to a happier and healthier self!
Decide
- Make the conscious decision to get yourself into shape. To make a lifestyle change that will improve the quality of your life.
Commit
- Commit to that change you decided to do. Get in the ‘game’ and press play each and everyday. Find the internal/external motivation that will help you reach your goals.
Succeed
- The satisfaction that you stuck with something to actually succeed and accomplish your goals.
Take a chance folks. Take that leap and improve upon yourself. I would like to help you reach your fitness goals. Take the first step and decide. Contact me (facebook, IM, phone). I’m open to help you out. use the contact me to setup up by phone and IM. After we talk, figure out a plan of attack, then we’ll get you started in one of the programs (P90x, Insanity, Chalean Extreme, Tony Horton One on One, Slim in 6, Turbo Jam, 10 minute trainer). All highly effective home fitness programs that will get results and are ideal for the coming offseason/winter months.

Have you ever sat down and said ‘What if’. I’m sure you have. I know that I have in the past wondered what would happen if I would of changed this scenario or that scenario and what would the outcome of been. I mean, truly there are an infinite amount of things that could happen if we simply changed one decision today. Instead of going left at the light to get to our destination, we make a right. What ramifications does it have? many possibilities. Or what about the ‘what if’ I had tried for that job which came available. Would I be happier than I am now? Would I be more financially sound? Our decisions can make a lasting impact on everyone around us!
We travel many roads each and every day in our life. I think it is important to ask this question “What If’ at all of those paths we cross. The possibilities that we open up are endless. I mean think about the decision to get healthy in your life. I myself asked this very question 10 months ago and said ‘what if’ i just pressed play. 10 months later I continue to say ‘what if’ I eat this food rather than this one, or ‘what if’ I push myself that little bit more, will I get even better results!
Think about our forefathers and the visionaries of the past and future. Did they sit around and say ‘what if’. Certainly. They said ‘what if’ America was free. they said ‘what if’ I could find a better way to do X.
So I ask you to think about the ‘what if’ about your own health, life and fitness. Make that conscious decision to say ‘what if’ i decide to push play. ‘what if’ i decide to make a lifestyle change and get off the couch ‘what if’ you simply took a 20 minute walk every night. The results, would be amazing!.
I bring this up because many people don’t take the time to realize they need to challenge everything that they have preconceived about a situation or process or anything. Don’t make the assumption. ‘what if’ can lead to so many changes in your life and in the end make you a better person!
I firmly believe that there are NO excuses that people can tell me why they aren’t looking to better themselves daily. There is no reason you can’t find something for Today’s Purpose that will make a difference. The possibilities are endless, take a chance and challenge everything.
Love to discuss with you so contact me. Think about your health, your fitness and If interested in getting started on a healthy fitness program let’s talk. BeachBody does a great job of providing a quality home fitness product that works. P90x, Insanity, Chalean extreme and more. ‘what if’ you bought one today and were healthy again in 90 days! Let me help you down that road as your coach!

Something I often think about is what can we do today to challenge ourselves. What can we do to make the world around us better as well as ourselves by one simple change today. Do you have challenges that you would like to overcome? Here are a few that I got that should get you thinking.
How better for us to grow as individuals than conquering something that has given us problems. Made our lives that little bit more complicated. Take a moment, make a list of those items that challenge you day to day. Then lets see what can be done to overcome them. WE live our lives finitely so don’t let something stand in the way of your dreams.
Challenges:
- Bad Eating habits (weekends especially, junk food and fast food)
- Bad Weather (raining or too cold)
- Overtraining (i.e. too tired the previous day so can’t perform optimally the next day)
- TV keeping you up at night (lack of sleep for effective rest)
- Drinking (Cola (diet, sugar filled), Alcohol)
- Finding time to exercise
Non-Challenges:
- Being fit is fun especially if you choose something you really like doing
- Joining challenges. Create ways to motivate you and friends to keep focused and have some fun. Always find ways to push yourself. That is how we learn, get stronger, and be the best that we can.
- Seeing the results/outcome of your fitness goals. Pants size down, wearing a piece of clothing you fit into 10 years ago in college.
- Sharing your experiences with others that hopefully will motivate them to get started towards their own personal fitness goals.
Find a challenge that you would like to overcome. Incrementally figure out ways to reduce that challenge to the non-challenge column. Figure out the best approach to get through those obstacles and reach for the stars as you make your way to the top.
By getting outside our comfort zone and challenging yourself, you will find that you are stronger, tougher, and more versatile than you would ever imagine. I am using a highly energizing workout program right now called Insanity. It pushes you to your fitness limits to help make you stronger, increase your endurance and all around stamina and cardiovascular health. It is an amazing product and I highly suggest it if you are looking for a challenge and to get started down a healthier lifestyle and fitness path. Contact me for more information and lets see if we can get you started.
