So I took on week 4 day 1. I think I choose the wrong day to do it. :). I had just done an upper body workout the evening before, and thought the next morning, ah what the heck lets do the 100 pushup challenge workout. Well, I was able to do the first three sets of reps ok. Managed to make those #'s. By the 4th set, I was spent. Just had absolutely no energy left. I got like 1/2 way through it and the gas left the building.
So I am going to do a 'take 2' on this one till I can get it right. Need to choose the appropriate day also to make sure I"m not exhausted. I'll do a followup When I have it. I'll show below what the reps are for this one.

So, did this one this morning. Felt good. Was shakey, but squeaked things out. So can tell I am getting stronger. bolded the 3rd column.
The max was for set 5 was 28, i was able to pull out 33.

So started my week 3 routine for the 100 pushup challenge.
Week 3 - Day 1: Has 5 sets. Below are my #'s. first 4 sets matched what they want you to do.
Set 1 - 14
Set 2 - 18
Set 3 - 14
Set 4 - 14
Set 5 - 15 (was to be max reps, at least 20) - I just couldn't get over that 15
Day 2, has even higher #'s to reach, so will be interesting. I'll probably do that one on Saturday. We'll see how it goes.

So some folks at work have decided to do the hundreds challenge, http://hundredpushups.com/index.html, where you work through 6 weeks of routines, to get yourself up to the point where you can do 100 pushups. Looks challenging. I'm going to try and add it into my current routine i'm doing and see how well I'll fare. I think based on what they say, I can actually start in week 3. I'll know tomorrow when I do the initial test to see how I stand before even starting. I got faith i can do between 30 and 40 pushapps in one sitting.
Looks fun. Always nice to do stuff with others, helps get you motivated to achieve your goals. I'll keep track of how things are going here as well.

So just finished up Day 2 of week 3 for the 100 pushups.
This is what they required below. I was able to do everything from column three, which is the far right one, which should be bolded. So a little better than Day 1. I was happy about that. So far so good, still moving forward.
