A mere 286 Days till my first 1/2 Marathon in a few years. Lots of time, but still lots of time to not stay committed. But for now, i’m doing what i need to.
- 20 Minutes on Treadmill; incline and weighted vest
- 15 minute core workout
- Weights. Back and Biceps today to be specific.
- Took dogo for a 15 minute walk.
I don’t know about you, but I struggle with commitment. There are so many distractions these days. We got Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Xbox, Playstation, normal TV (if anyone actually still watches it), and the million other things that tend to distract us like the cute little squirrel climbing the tree. It’s all good. As long as we remember, that our primary goal should be to take each day and find some path to making ourselves better. Other than the gaming systems, you can workout while watching your favorite shows or movies. Or listen to some cool podcast about nearly any topic your heart desires. Get up, go for that walk or do some other form of exercise. That’s my bit for today.
